When producing the satin bonnets, I very quickly found myself with a lot of satin scraps. I was looking for an efficient and sustainable way to convert them.

I once went to a hair salon for braids, and when I finished I had nothing to tie my braids up and neither did the salon. I came back a few days later with samples for sale and these favorites were a hit.
